“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”
Our customers are amazing people, not only do they support our business, but they support many things throughout our community. They serve on boards, and civic committees, they mentor young people. Our customers coach our communities young athletes, and educate our students. They play cards with our elderly, and teach a ballet class to promising little dancers. Our customers mow the parks and the school lawn, and scoop the snow from their neighbors sidewalk in the winter. They own or work at some of our favorite bars, restaurants, flower shops, banks, auto repair shops and many more. Every one of our customers is an active member of our community, our community doesn’t work without each and every one of them.
It takes every one of those mentioned, plus a bunch more to make a community a great place to work and play. Not only is the customer the most important visitor in our store, they are also the most important people in our community. Those same amazing people making our community a better place, make this business a better place, and it is our honor to not only have them as customers, but to serve next to them in our community.
